Free Education important to Student's lives

 When education is free the minds can be free too!!!

Why the South African future has to be so expensive for the generation that has big dreams? The future in South African has been turned into business where the young minds will have to pay for it in order to get educational equipped, this article discusses more about the free education that more South Africans are in need of in their daily lives more than any other thing that is crucial in their lives

Have you ever imagined how it feels like to die? Not being able to live again, not being able to live up to your dreams? Being unable to fulfill all the dreams you ever had as a kid? Well that is just how it feels like to not have education, it’s like your life has been taken away, from the first day on the first grade the educational importance has been stressed up to almost everyone as a child with awesome fantasies of driving a beautiful car, owning a very big house with everything you ever wished for.

With all the beautiful thoughts of being a successful person as young black man growing up in a very disadvantaged background with a hope that one will make it, coming to varsity with a great strong mind to work hard and graduate then get a job and then educational fees increasing randomly like prices at one of the well-known supermarkets, Spar, Pick n Pay or Shoprite when the country is facing inflation. Free education has been something that we all need as students in order to achieve our dreams. In 2017 our former president Jacob Zuma promised the whole country that free education will be given to the South Africans.

With the given promises, many people were left wondering that with all the Universities in South Africa how the Government will be able to fund all the students in all the Universities since this will require Billions of Rands in order to fulfill the given promise. But clearly the former president could not take into account the fact that country was from JunkStatus in the year of 2016, which means the country may not be able to afford to take that decision since it’s disadvantageous to the country, even education is very crucial.

One of the disadvantages is the fact that taxation will increase in both ways whether direct or indirect as form of VAT (value added tax) which means goods in the market will be expensive at the cost of education because the Government needs revenues in order to fund the educational system of South Africa. While advantages are that everyone will get the bring future and be educated be well established in life.

                  Mzansi's Kasi life on Spotlight!

This article will give readers a taste of how South Africans life is spent in the townships, how people live from day to day, it is to inform people who have never been to Ekasi (township) who have never shared the lifestyle people live Ekasi, some find it more interesting and some do not but honestly it is all about what an individual’s prefers not what majority says or thinks.

In South Africa there are nine provinces and of all these provinces there are places called township or Ekasi and in each township people live their lives in a very different way.it is one of the places where you will meet different races, different life style and people in the neighborhoods have adapted to the fact that there are people who come from different place like Coloured people, people from India, China, even white people.

People come to township or “location” which is another term used for Kasi, for different reasons, to some people the location is the perfect place for a business, their target market is broad enough for them to open “Tuck – Shops” which is a mini market for food at a very lowest prices, such businesses are operated by Indian people and they seem to make lot of money because they operate in every sections of many locations.

                                                           

With all things that are very exciting in the township there are also those that are not good like the high percentage of drugs that take place in the lives of young people, different types of drugs like Crack, Nyaope, Marijuana and Flakka, these are the most dangerous drugs that makes the lives of kasi people be horrible because they create the level of crime to be high which is something police have already started in looking at.

 Then there is always the other side where lots and lots of people enjoy which called “Stock-Fella” this is an event that takes place on Saturdays from 6pm till 6am in the following day where people would drink and dance, it all about having fun then comes Sunday morning where our mothers and siblings go to church and our brothers and fathers go to the place called “The Corner” where they eat “iSkopo nePapa” which is the cow head meat and pap, that is one food that is highly enjoyed by male people who grow up in Kasi in most cases but there are also few women who eat it and it very delicious.
